I enjoyed living in Colorado for it’s lack of spiders, snakes and biting insects. When traveling in the South Pacific, I knew I wouldn’t escape it, but surprisingly didn’t have much of a problem with the mosquitos.
Pennsylvania is a different story. I’m not sure what is different with these mossies, but I got one on my pinky finger and I can no longer make a fist. Talk about an itch you can’t scratch!
Nonetheless, I hiked out a few waterfalls today, and searched for a campsite. I’d like to say it’s the first time it’s happened, but I got my car stuck again. Who would put a marsh at the top of the hill?
